Peningkatan Kemampuan Mitigasi Bencana di SD dan SMP Satu Atap 4 Gunungsari
Abstract
Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mitigasi bencana di SD dan SMP Satu Atap 4 Gunungsari. Berdasarkan analisis situasi, lingkungan sekitar mitra merupakan daerah rawan bencana gempa bumi dan tanah longsor karena faktor geologi dan tata guna lahan. Selain itu, SD dan SMP Satu Atap 4 Gunungsari juga belum memiliki program khusus yang berfokus pada peningkatan kemampuan mitigasi bencana siswa. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu analisis situasi, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa program yang berjudul “Mitigasi Bencana” dengan pendekatan partisipatif dari pihak mitra. Pelaksanaan mitigasi bencana terdiri dari tiga kegiatan, yaitu pengembangan kartu sikap saat terjadi bencana, sosialisasi atau penyampaian materi, dan simulasi atau pelatihan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian berfokus pada peningkatan mitigasi bencana siswa melalui sosialisasi sebagai pengantar materi dan simulasi sebagai praktik mitigasi bencana. Produk yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Kartu Pintar Tanggap Bencana, sebagai branding kartu. Pada kegiatan sosialisasi dan penyampaian materi, hasil uji statistik menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman mitigasi bencana (Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000). Selain itu, hasil lembar observasi pada kegiatan simulasi terkategori sangat baik pada seluruh variabel, yaitu keaktifan (3.428), kesiapan (3.511), kepatuhan (3.746), dan pemahaman (3.968). Berdasarkan kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mitigasi bencana siswa.
