Strategi Peningkatan Literasi Budaya Siswa Pendidikan Usia Dini Melalui Pendekatan Pahlawan Super Indonesia
Abstract
Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan di PAUD Kober Al-Ishlah, Kota Bandung, untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya Indonesia di kalangan anak usia dini. Observasi awal menunjukkan partisipasi budaya yang rendah di antara siswa usia dini, serta kecenderungan terpapar budaya pop asing. Program PKM ini terdiri dari dua tahap, pada tahap pertama adalah pelatihan guru menggunakan metode Train The Trainers (TTT), yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas mengajar literasi budaya melalui cerita pahlawan super lokal seperti Gatotkaca. Tahap kedua melibatkan sesi co-teach, takeover, dan deliver, di mana guru yang telah dilatih akan mempraktekkan read aloud bertema budaya kepada siswa secara langsung. Hasil akhir menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan read aloud guru, khususnya dalam aspek komunikasi tujuan, teknik bertanya, dan refleksi cerita, dengan skor pasca pelatihan mencapai 81 (Sangat Baik) dibandingkan skor pra pelatihan 67. Namun, pengenalan kosakata terkait budaya Indonesia masih memerlukan peningkatan, termasuk pengenalan elemen budaya sederhana seperti kain batik dan wayang. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model edukasi literasi budaya bagi anak usia dini dan membantu mempopulerkan pahlawan super Indonesia, memperkuat apresiasi terhadap budaya lokal, dan menanamkan nilai-nilai kepahlawanan sejak dini
