Peer Review

Excellent: International Journal of Computational Intelligence and Sustainable Innovation (EXCELLENT) implements a rigorous and transparent peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific contribution of all published manuscripts. The journal adopts a double-blind peer-review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to evaluate their suitability with the journal’s aims and scope, manuscript structure, formatting compliance, and ethical standards. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected prior to peer review.

Submissions that pass the initial evaluation will be assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area. Reviewers are responsible for assessing the scientific quality, originality, methodology, clarity, validity of results, and contribution of the manuscript to the field of computational intelligence and sustainable innovation.

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor may issue one of the following decisions: Accept Submission, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject Submission.

Authors are expected to revise their manuscripts in accordance with reviewers’ comments and submit a clear response to the revisions made. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation when necessary.

The final decision regarding publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ evaluations, editorial judgment, and compliance with the journal’s publication standards and ethical policies.

The journal is committed to ensuring a fair, objective, timely, and constructive review process while maintaining the confidentiality of all submitted materials.
