ARCHIVING POLICY
A. Long-Term Electronic Backup and Digital Preservation
Reswara: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat recognizes the critical importance of maintaining continuous and permanent access to all published scientific articles. To guarantee long-term digital preservation against server failures, data loss, or potential cessation of the journal's publication in the future, we implement a multi-layered electronic backup and digital preservation strategy:
- LOCKSS Archiving Systems: This journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) systems to establish a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. This allows these libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for long-term preservation and data restoration purposes.
- PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): All published content of this journal is automatically and regularly archived within the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). This decentralized preservation network runs seamlessly to permanently secure digital manuscripts in PDF format alongside their metadata. This can be seen through The Keepers Registry recorded in the ISSN Portal
- National Repositories (Portal Garuda & Indonesia OneSearch): As part of our commitment to national archiving and dissemination, all metadata and full-text PDFs of our published articles are regularly synchronized and archived in Portal Garuda (Garuda Digital Reference) and Indonesia OneSearch (IOS), managed by the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia.
B. Author Self-Archiving Policy
We fully support authors in disseminating their community service findings independently. Authors are permitted and highly encouraged to archive their work in their respective institutional repositories or personal academic platforms under the following conditions:
- Publisher's PDF Version (Post-Print): Authors are permitted to self-archive the final published PDF version (featuring the official Reswara galley layout, page numbers, DOI, and journal identity) into institutional or personal repositories immediately upon official online publication.
- Open Access Licensing: Any self-archived version must include an active hyperlink to the original article on our OJS platform and must consistently display the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC-BY-NC-SA) license attribution.
