Peer-Review Process
Peer Review Process
Double-Blind Peer Review Policy
Dharmawangsa: International Journal of The Social Sciences, Education and Humanities employs a Double-Blind Peer Review system. Both the author's identity and the reviewer's identity remain strictly anonymous throughout the evaluation process.
Review Stages & Decision Workflow
- Initial Editorial Screening (Desk Review): All submitted manuscripts are first read and evaluated by the editorial staff. Manuscripts evaluated to be outside the journal's scope, poorly formatted, or inappropriate to the journal criteria are rejected promptly without external review.
- External Peer Review Assignment: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening and are evaluated to be of potential interest to our readership are assigned to qualified external peer reviewers in the respective field.
- Editorial Decision Options: Based on the detailed recommendations and evaluations provided by the peer reviewers, the Section Editor / Editor in Chief makes a final decision from among the following outcomes:
- Accept Submission: The manuscript is accepted as-is without requiring further modifications.
- Need Minor Revision: The manuscript is accepted contingent upon minor editorial or formatting adjustments.
- Require Major Revision: The manuscript requires substantial structural, theoretical, or empirical revisions before re-evaluation.
- Resubmit for Review: The manuscript needs extensive rework and must undergo a full second round of peer review upon resubmission.
- Decline / Reject Submission: The manuscript is declined due to fundamental methodological, theoretical, or scope limitations.
