LEARNING TECHNOLOGY CONCEPT, PHILOSOPHICAL BASIS, AND TECHNOLOGY THEORY

Abstract


Learning technology has brought significant changes to the world of education. This technology offers innovative solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process through the use of e-learning, interactive multimedia, and Learning Management Systems (LMS), which enable learning to be more flexible, interactive, and accessible to all groups. However, challenges in implementing technology, such as inadequate infrastructure and teacher preparedness, still need to be addressed. This journal aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the concept of learning technology and its underlying philosophical and theoretical foundations. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method based on a literature review. The journal's discussion covers various educational theories that support the use of technology in learning, such as behaviorism, cognitivism, and constructivism, and explores the application of technology through innovations such as augmented reality, virtual reality, and gamification. By understanding the relationship between philosophy, theory, and technology in education, it is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to improving the quality of education, especially in Indonesia, in facing the challenges of the digital era.
