Focus and Scope

Reswara is a community service journal published and managed by the Institute for Community Service at Universitas Dharmawangsa (LPkM UNDHAR).

This journal is expected to be a tool for information and socialization regarding the results of service from the entire academic community about various kinds of innovations and solutions to various problems in society.

Articles published in Reswara include the results of community service that have relevance to:

  1. Human development and national competitiveness 
  2. Local resource-based poverty alleviation 
  3. Management of rural and coastal areas with local wisdom 
  4. Livestock, fisheries, and forestry 
  5. Economic development, entrepreneurship, cooperatives, creative industries, and MSMEs 
  6. Development of environmentally sound technology 
  7. Field of computer science and technology 
  8. Literature and culture 
  9. Field of law 
  10. Communication and socio-political sector 
  11. Education sector oriented towards national integration and social harmony
  12. Public health improvement.

Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

All articles are first reviewed by the Editor. This evaluation includes the focus and scope of the journal, the level of similarity, and the journal template. Similarity results below 20% will proceed to the reviewer. If it does not meet the requirements, the article will be immediately returned to the author. The checking process is still manual. After passing the initial review process, the article will be sent to at least 2 reviewers using the Double blind peer review policy. All comments from reviewers will be sent to the corresponding email listed on each article. The editor will provide information to the author regarding the final results of the assessment no later than 60 days after the paper is submitted. Peer reviewers have the right to provide some feedback to the authors to encourage the quality of the manuscript and provide input on editorial policies according to their respective expertise. The editor's final decision regarding the article is decided based on the final evaluation results of the journal editorial team meeting. Furthermore, the editor will send the final assessment results to the author via email.

Willingness

Peer reviewers must inform the editor of their willingness to review the manuscript for publication. If unwilling, the peer reviewer must inform the editor.

Confidentiality

The reviewed manuscript is a confidential document. Communication with other parties without authorization is prohibited.

Standard objectivity

Peer reviewers should adhere to the principles of objectivity and avoid personal criticism of manuscript authors during the review process. All comments should be accompanied by clear and supportive suggestions.

Reference Clarity

Peer reviewers are recommended to provide information to authors with relevant literature, or case studies that have not been cited, have substantial similarity or overlap with the manuscript under review.

Conflict of interest

Peer reviewers are not permitted to use unpublished manuscript materials for personal use without the written consent of the authors, under any circumstances. The information and ideas contained in the reviewed manuscript are confidential and should not be distributed or used for personal gain. If there is a conflict of interest due to reasons of competition, collaboration, or other relationships with authors, institutions or companies involved in publishing, peer reviewers are not permitted to evaluate related manuscripts.

Publication Frequency

Reswara Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat is published twice a year, in January and July.


Open Access Policy

Reswara Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat provides direct open access to its content. Reswara Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (RJPKM) is committed to publishing a fully open access journal. All our articles are freely accessible from the date of publication and all articles are made available on the Internet to all users immediately after publication.

There is no charge for readers to download articles for their own use. Readers may view abstracts (html format) and freely download full papers (pdf format). Non-commercial use and distribution in any medium is permitted, provided that the author and the journal are properly credited under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

Journal History

2020:

Published for the first time in January 2020 by the Institute for Community Service at Dharmawangsa University (LPkM UNDHAR) with ISSN: 2716-4861 (Print) and 2716-3997 (Online)

2021:

Starting the Volume 2 Number 1 January issue, the copyright of the manuscript is fully transferred to the author

2021:

Signing of cooperation with the Association of Journal of Community Engagement (AJPKM - Association of PkM Journals), in February with membership number 2021.0205.0048

2021:

In February, the journal underwent a role change in the editorial team, where the roles of copyeditor and layout editor will be merged with the role of section editor

2022:

Nationally accredited by the National Journal Accreditation system (ARJUNA) managed by the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia, with a SINTA 4 rating based on Decree No. 164/E/KPT/2021 dated December 27, 2021.

2025:

In order to achieve a better standard of website design, to maintain the consistency of language on the website and to improve the professionalism of the presentation, further improvements have been made. Some of the improvements made are:

  1. Consistency in writing journal names (formerly written in UPPERCASE) according to those registered in E-ISSN (online media) and no addition/subtraction of any attributes.
  2. Improve the cover design name on the printed version of the journal
  3. Improve and ensure consistency in the use of language on the website menu. Currently, all menus on the journal site are completely in English to improve the professional appearance.
