PENGUATAN PERAN PEREMPUAN MELALUI PEMBUATAN ECOENZYME LINGKUNGAN RUMAH TANGGA

Limbah rumah tangga merupakan penyumbang limbah terbesar. Sebagian besar limbah rumah tangga adalah limbah organik yang jika tidak dikelola dengan baik dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka pengelolaan limbah organik perlu dilakukan secara komprehensif. Pelatihan pembuatan eco-enzyme bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan masyarakat, khususnya ibu-ibu rumah tangga dalam mengolah sampah organik rumah tangga menjadi produk eco-enzyme. Metode pengabdian ini adalah sosialisasi dan diskusi terkait teknologi eco-enzyme, demonstrasi teknologi eco-enzyme, dan praktik langsung pembuatan eco-enzyme bersama peserta pelatihan. Eco-enzyme dapat dibuat dari campuran limbah organik, molase dan air dengan perbandingan 3:1:10. Kegiatan pelatihan tersebut mendapatkan respon yang baik dari peserta, diantaranya jumlah kehadiran peserta lebih dari 85%, antusias dan semangat peserta baik, tanggapan masyarakat terkait kegiatan pelatihan positif. Produk eco-enzyme yang dihasilkan oleh peserta baik dan sesuai indikator eco-enzyme, yaitu warna kecoklatan, bau khas buah dan sedikit beraroma alkohol, pH asam (3-4), dan tidak ditumbuhi jamur atau belatungReferences
