ACTIVITY DATA SHARING

A. Commitment to Data Availability and Replicability

Reswara Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat is committed to enhancing the transparency, accountability, and replicability of community engagement activities. In accordance with national accreditation guidelines, we encourage authors to provide open access to activity data, program instruments, and supporting materials used during the project . This practice is intended to allow other community development practitioners to replicate successful engagement models in different communities or regions.

B. Scope of Community Engagement Activity Data

Activity data under this policy is tailored to the specific characteristics of community service projects, which include :
  1. Activity Evaluation Data: Recapitulated data of pre- and post-activity impact scores (such as quantitative/qualitative data of pre-test and post-test results).
  2. Data Collection Instruments: Evaluation questionnaires, interview guidelines, or observation sheets used to measure changes in partner behaviors or attitud.
  3. Mentoring Materials and Protocols: Training modules, counseling materials, curriculum drafts, or operational program guidelines.
  4. Technical/Product Designs: Blueprints, technical specifications, or operational schematics of appropriate technology (ATT) applied to the target partners.

C. Data Protection, Confidentiality, and Ethical Compliance Rules

The implementation of activity data sharing must prioritize ethical and legal compliance by adhering to three key pillars :
  1. Personal Data Protection and Privacy: All shared activity data must undergo an anonymization process (removing names, specific addresses, phone numbers, or other sensitive variables) to protect the privacy and confidentiality of the participating community partners .
  2. Ethical Clearance: Data storage and sharing must comply with the ethical standards of social research and the voluntary informed consent of the program participants .
  3. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Protection: If the activity data contains inventions, new technologies, or MSME products currently undergoing patent, copyright, or trademark registration, authors have the right to restrict data sharing until legal rights are granted to avoid IPR infringement .

D. Data Availability Statement

All submitted manuscripts must include a Data Availability Statement (DAS) at the end of the article, before the References section . Authors can choose one of the following templates:
  • Option 1 (Open Access): "The activity data, including the questionnaire instruments and training materials supporting this project, are openly available in the public repository [Repository Name, Link/DOI]."
  • Option 2 (On Request): "The program evaluation data (pre-test/post-test scores) supporting this article are available upon reasonable request from the corresponding author to protect the privacy of the target partner group."
  • Option 3 (Within the Manuscript): "All relevant activity data and documentation of the technology implementation are fully presented within the manuscript."
