PENGARUH TINGKAT INFLASI TERHADAP PENYALURAN KREDIT PADA PT.PEGADAIAN SYARIAH CABANG KOTA PADANGSIDIMPUAN

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the inflation rate on sharia mortgage lending and its variables (pawnshop business income and gold prices). This study uses data that has been processed at the Syariah Branch of Padangsidimpuan Pegadaian. The data used in this study are Time Series data for 5 years starting from 2013 to 2017 and using the Microsoft Excel 2016. The results of this study indicate that the inflation variable partially does not affect sharia mortgage lending, the variable income of sharia pawnshops business positive effect on sharia mortgage lending. From the results of the study indicate that the variable price of gold has a positive and significant effect on rahn lending, namely with fluctuations in the price of gold affecting sharia mortgage lending (rahn). the high price of gold, the distribution of rahn credit also increased.
The effect of changes in inflation on lending occurs not directly but through the real interest rate first inflation is very influential with the demand for credit, because inflation also means price increases. The higher the price, then someone will try to be able to meet the needs, and in fulfilling these needs can be by applying for credit.
