Abstract

Performance is the result of work and work behavior. If performance is based on results, then what is seen is the amount of quality and quantity produced by an employee. Many factors that can improve performance include work motivation. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of motivation partially on PT. ISS Indonesia Branch Medan.
This study uses an associative approach. As for the population in this study are all employees of PT. ISS Indonesia Branch Medan, determining the number of samples using saturated samples which is 30 employees. Techniques for collecting data using questionnaires, interviews and documentation studies. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination.
The results showed that partially, motivation did not have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. ISS Indonesia Branch Medan, R square value of 0.027 or 2.7% contribution to work motivation on employee performance and 97.3% influenced by other variables.
