PENGARUH UPAH MINIMUM DAN PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI TERHADAP PENYERAPAN TENAGA KERJA SEKTOR INDUSTRI DI KABUPATEN DELI SERDANG

ABSTRACT
This study aims to examine and analyze how the condition of labor absorption in the industrial sector in Deli Serdang Regency from 2011 to 2020, as well as to identify the impact of the Minimum Wage and Economic Growth factor on the absorption of labor in the industrial sector in Deli Serdang Regency. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research, where the data used is secondary data from BPS Deli Serdang Regency. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression through Eviews 12 to find out how the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. After conducting the test, it was found that the significance value was greater than 0.05, which means that drinking wages in Deli Serdang Regency did not affect employment in the industrial sector, as well as economic growth which also had no effect on employment in the industrial sector in Deli Serdang Regency. Judging from the Prob F-Statistic value, which is 0.032730 < 0.05, it means that the minimum wage and economic growth simultaneously or jointly have a significant effect on employment in the industrial sector in Deli Serdang Regency.
