KONSUMSI DALAM EKONOMI ISLAM

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide a clear picture of consumption in the Islamic economy. The method used in this research is document method or library research. The intended consumption is consumption that leads Muslims to the victory / victory of al-Falah. Al-falah for the world and the hereafter. Islam greatly distinguishes between needs and desires. Need is the desire of humans to get something they need in order to maintain their survival and carry out their functions. Al-Ghazali stressed the importance of intention to consume so as to make consumption a worship. Consumption is done in order to get closer to Allah SWT. The purpose of Islamic consumption is to fulfill needs and not fulfill satisfaction / desires. In an effort to achieve this need, it is one of the obligations in religion. In terms of fulfilling this need, it should not be separated from the concept of mashlahah. The consumption in Islam as explained in the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, whose meaning is; "The assets that you have are what you eat and what you have infested." Therefore, the mathematical equation becomes: Y = (C + Infak) + S.
