PERAN DOSEN TERHADAP PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN SIKAP ANTI PLAGIAT DALAM PENULISAN SKRIPSI MENGGUNAKANMETODE DISKUSI TERBIMBING MAHASISWA STMIK BUDIDARMA MEDAN 2018

Abstract
The Role of Lecturers on Increasing Motivation and Attitudes of Anti Plagiarism in Thesis Writing Using the Guided Discussion Method of STMIK Budidarma Medan Students, 2018. The purpose of this study was to: (1) To increase the motivation and learning outcomes of STMIK Budidarma Medan students using guided discussion methods in Indonesian Language and Information on Scientific Work by MI-P1401 students of Informatics Engineering Study Program STMIK Budidarma Medan. (2) To get a solution that can be done in increasing motivation by using a guided discussion method. The classical learning outcomes mentioned above show that the average value of students who get low scores is 18 people or around 64.3%, who get enough scores as many as 10 people or around 35.7%, and there are no students who get good and excellent grades. While the acquisition of data on learning motivation based on the results of the motivation questionnaire is still relatively low. Students who have low learning motivation are 17 people or 60.7% are not motivated. While students who have moderate motivation are 9 people or 32.1%, and those who have high motivation are 2 people or 7.1% of 28 students. After applying the guided discussion method in learning activities there is a change in motivation and learning outcomes towards a very positive direction as illustrated in the following explanation. Classical learning outcomes show that the average value of students who get low scores and is quite 0%, who get good grades as much as 28.6%, while students who get very good grades are 71.4%. While the learning motivation is based on the results of the above calculations, it can be seen that students who have not shown a change in motivation towards a better one is only 1 person or 3.7%, while students who get Good grades as many as 12 people or 42.8%, and students who get very high scores good as many as 15 people or 53.6%. Thus, a recommendation can be proposed that learning Scientific Writing Techniques using guided discussion methods can increase student motivation and student learning outcomes MI-P1401 Informatics Engineering Study Program STMIK Budidarma Medan Academic Year 2017/2018.
