Abstract

ABSTRACT

          The purpose of this study is to determine how big the role of accounting information systems is in management decision making. Information is one resource that is indispensable for management in making decisions. Accounting within the company plays an important role and can provide information about data expressed in units of money. To collect good financial data, a good information system is needed. The right business decisions can be made that are tailored to the information systems implemented in each company.

The wrong decision will result in the policies set on the company or organization will also be wrong. Errors will also disrupt the operational activities of the organization, including the survival of the company or organization, both large and small are required to have a good and reliable information system, so as to produce relevant, accurate, and timely information. The application of accounting information systems in the company environment has developed. The results of the research carried out were that the accounting information system used at PT Walet Solusindo was good because it was done computerized, namely all existing accounting information was recorded into a computer so that if information was needed it could be obtained quickly and easily in the decision-making process.
