Modernity has had a major impact in shifting the paradigm of human life, especially in terms of the role of religion, spirituality and tradition. Rationalism, materialism and secularism have made religion lose its central position in modern life. Seyyed Hossein Nasr, through the thoughts of perennial philosophy and Islamic traditionalism, offers a sharp critique of modernity and calls for restoring balance between the material and spiritual dimensions. Tradition, for Nasr, is not just a relic of the past, but a source of wisdom that is eternal and relevant to answering the challenges of the times. This research uses a qualitative approach through literature study to explore Nasr's thinking and its relevance in responding to the crisis of modernity. The results of the study show that strengthening traditional and spiritual values can be a solution to the void of meaning and humanitarian crisis caused by modernity.
