IMPLEMENTATION OF THE WAHDAH METHOD IN THE QUR'AN MEMORIZATION PROGRAM AT MTS BABUL 'ULUM PAJAK RAMBE

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine how the Wahdah method is used to help students at MTs Babul 'Ulum Pajak Rambe memorize the Qur'an, as well as the factors that facilitate and hinder this process. This study used a qualitative approach. At MTs Babul 'Ulum Pajak Rambe, six levels of halaqah groups were established to carry out tahfizhul Qur'an using the Wahdah method. These levels are as follows: halaqah tahsin category, halaqah category juz 30 and obligatory surah, halaqah category juz 1-5, 7-15, 16-25, and 26-29. A halaqah group must be led by an instructor and have at least 19 students. After the formation of the halaqah group, the monthly and annual memorization targets for students will be determined based on their educational level at MTs Babul 'Ulum Pajak Rambe. The existence of a positive working relationship between leaders and teachers, the existence of leaders who inspire teachers, the existence of leaders who guide and mentor teachers, and the existence of leaders who establish formal and informal communication with mu'allim are supporting factors in the Al-Qur'an memorization program at MTs Babul 'Ulum Pajak Rambe which uses the Wahdah method. The many mistakes and sins, the lack of effort to maintain memorization, overemphasizing worldly things, and the desire to memorize many verses quickly are factors that hinder the process of memorizing the Al-Qur'an.
