PENGARUH LEVEL RATIO C:N TERHADAP NITROGEN TAK ORGANIK DALAM AIR YANG MENGGUNAKAN MOLASES SEBAGAI SUMBER KARBON

Abstract


Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana rasio C:N mempengaruhi nitrogen anorganik dalam air dengan memanfaatkan molase sebagai sumber karbon organik. Dalam percobaan, larutan stok pekat NH4Cl digunakan untuk membuat konsentrasi yang sesuai dari larutan uji amonia (5 mgL-1 atau 4,117 mgL-1 nitrogen). Dua liter 5 mgL-1 amonia ditambahkan ke setiap wadah pengujian. Perlakuan dalam percobaan ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga ulangan, yaitu: (1) tanpa molase; (2) tetes tebu dengan perbandingan C:N = 7,5; (3) tetes tebu dengan perbandingan C:N = 15,0; (4) tetes tebu dengan perbandingan C:N = 17,5; (5) tetes tebu dengan perbandingan C:N = 20,0; dan (6) tetes tebu dengan perbandingan C:N = 22,5. Data dianalisa menggunakan analisis varians dan regresi, Uji Duncan digunakan untuk membandingkan nilai rata-rata setiap percobaan. Ada penurunan substansial dalam konsentrasi amonia sebagai respons terhadap peningkatan kadar rasio C:N terhadap perlakuan molase. Perlu dicatat bahwa konsentrasi amonia pada perlakuan tanpa molase lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan perlakuan dengan molase dengan rasio C:N kurang dari 22,5.
