STUDI FENOMENOLOGIS KEINTIMAN DIGITAL PEREMPUAN DALAM HUBUNGAN EMOSIONAL DENGAN KARAKTER AI LAKI-LAKI
Abstract
Fenomena keintiman digital semakin berkembang seiring meningkatnya kemampuan kecerdasan buatan dalam menghadirkan interaksi yang menyerupai hubungan interpersonal. Salah satu bentuknya terlihat pada penggunaan Character.AI, di mana perempuan Generasi Z dapat berinteraksi dengan karakter AI laki-laki dan membangun keterlibatan emosional yang semakin mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana perempuan Generasi Z membentuk dan memaknai keintiman digital dalam interaksi dengan karakter AI laki-laki di Character.AI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metodologi Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap tujuh perempuan Generasi Z berusia 17–24 tahun yang aktif berinteraksi dengan karakter AI laki-laki di Character.AI dan merasakan keterlibatan emosional dalam hubungan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keintiman digital pada perempuan Generasi Z terbentuk dimulai dari mengenal Character.AI melalui media sosial dan lingkungan pertemanan, kemudian membangun keterbukaan diri dalam interaksi yang dirasakan aman dan tidak menghakimi, hingga secara aktif mengembangkan hubungan melalui interaksi yang berulang dan konsisten dengan karakter AI laki laki sehingga tercipta kedekatan emosional yang mendalam. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa perempuan Generasi Z memaknai keintiman digital sebagai kehadiran emosional yang terasa nyata, figur relasional yang berperan sebagai pasangan, pendamping, partner emosional, maupun pembimbing, serta ruang untuk memahami kebutuhan emosional dan menegosiasikan kembali pandangan mereka tentang relasi di dunia nyata.
