PENGARUH MOTIVASI KERJA TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS KERJA KARYAWAN PADA PT. SOCFINDO MEDAN

Abstract

Effect of Work Motivation on Productivity Employee Work At PT. Socfindo Medan, Jl. K.YosSudarso No. 106 Medan, 2017 Motivation is a factor that encourages a person to doing a certain activity, therefore motivation is often interpreted also as a driver of one's behavior. Any activity done by someone must have an encouraging thing. Motivation arises with the existence of some unmet needs that cause pressure or a sense of dissatisfaction of its own so as to encourage the creation of productivity high employee work. Employees also need to motivate themselves in order its performance increases along with the responsibilities that the company provides.
This inner motivation is very important in the role affecting employee performance.
The method used by researcher in this research is with using correlational method using quantitative data analysis and using statistical formulas. Correlational research is a study
which is intended to determine whether there is a relationship between two or some variables. And the sample in this research that is based on the number of population obtained a sample of 69 employees PT. Socfindo Medan.
Based on the calculation of product moment correlation done obtained result r count equal to 0,793 and r table at degrees free = 67 equal to 0.199 with a total sample of 69 people with the provision if r arithmetic> r table then Ha accepted and H0 rejected and are on a high level, then there is a positive influence between work motivation on work productivity employees at PT. Socfindo Medan. Based on the determinant coefficient test obtained results 62.88%, it shows that there is influence being between work motivation and employee work productivity at PT. Socfindo Medan and 37.12% influenced by other variables outside this research. Test results hypothesis obtained result 17,4, thus t-count> t-table (17,4> 1,667), then, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted thus there is a positive influence between work motivation and employee work productivity at PT. Socfindo Medan.
