ANALISIS TINGKAT ABSENSI DAN KEDISIPLINAN TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS KERJA PADA PT. PALMANCO INTI SAWIT MEDAN

Abstract


ABSTRACT
To achieve high work productivity, it is largely determined by the human behaviors that carry out the work. Given the enormous role and position of human resources as employees in the company's business activities, it requires low absenteeism and high work discipline. Attendance and discipline is a person's behavior in accordance with the rules and work procedures that exist in the organization.
The problem in this study is related to the effect of absenteeism on work productivity, the influence of discipline on work productivity, and the influence of absenteeism and discipline on work productivity at PT. Palmanco Inti Sawit Medan. Associative research is research that aims to determine the relationship of two or more variables. This study used 60 respondents.
Based on the results of research with t-test analysis obtained the value of t-count absentee level (X1) of 2.147> t-table = 1.67203, the result is Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, namely the absence rate has a partial effect on work productivity at PT. Palmanco Inti Sawit Medan. In this case the attendance applied by the company relates to attendance, working hours required to attend and tardiness, but it has not been applied firmly and committed. The results of the study by t-test analysis obtained the value of the t-discipline (X2) of 2.486> t-table = 1.67203, the result Ho was rejected and H2 was accepted, that discipline had a partial effect on work productivity at PT. Palmanco Inti Sawit Medan. The results also showed that some employees lacked work discipline because they talked too much at work, were too relaxed or indifferent, were lazy and acted very busy even though the work done was minimal, due to lack of direct supervisor supervision and unclear work targets. Based on the results of the study with the analysis of the F test, the F-count value of absenteeism and discipline of 3,559> F-table = 3.16, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H3 is acceptable, namely the level of absenteeism and discipline has an influence on work productivity together. same (simultaneous) effect on work productivity at PT. Palmanco Inti Sawit Medan. While the results of the determination test showed that 52.2% of employee work productivity at PT. Palmanco Inti Sawit Medan is influenced by absenteeism and work discipline, and 47.8% is influenced by other factors not examined such as support for work facilities, motivation and others. PT. Palmanco Inti Sawit Medan implements a firmer and consistent attendance rate for all employees and improves supervision of employees who are working.
