ANALISIS KEBIJAKAN HARGA DAN PROMOSI TERHADAP PENINGKATAN VOLUME PENJUALAN PADA CV. J&J POWERINDO MEDAN

Abstract


ABSTRACT
In achieving the desired level of sales the company must be able to provide satisfaction to consumers by providing quality products and services at affordable prices on the market, which is expected by consumers as users or consumers offered by these companies will be satisfied. On the CV. J&J Powerindo Medan always strives to increase its sales volume. But from the realization of sales the company experienced a problem with the occurrence of a decline in sales. This is because the marketing system that is carried out is still not optimal, one of which is the promotion and price of the company. For this reason, an appropriate promotion and pricing strategy is needed in order to increase the sales volume of its products. Promotion and price factors hold an important role in a business activity to support the level of sales. Researchers are very interested to find out more about CV. J&J Powerindo Medan analyzes prices and promotions conducted by CV. J&J Powerindo Medan to market and promote its products to consumers so that they can compete with other companies and be able to increase the sales of the company's products. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of prices and promotions on sales volumes on CV. J&J Powerindo Medan. The data collection method used by researchers is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique is multiple linear regression. The sample studied was as many as 73 people. The results of the study are the price effect on sales volume. Promotion influences sales volume. Price and promotion influences sales volume of 73.1% while 26.9% is the contribution of other variables not included in this regression model.
