Abstract
The surge in demand for both food and non-food items should not be used as a moment to raise prices unnaturally. Entrepreneurs and traders can find other ways to get halal profits.
Price is one of the main factors - although it is not the only factor that influences buyer choice. Price is the main factor of choice for buyers increasingly seen among poor groups. However, price is not a major factor in the choice of buyers for wealthy / wealthy people. However, this theory only applies to products outside of food needs. For food needs which include primary needs, it will have a straight line effect with decreasing purchases on secondary needs and economic growth.
the increase in chilli prices can affect various aspects of life in the community. Like economics, politics, social, and so on. Because chili is an important food for the community, a slight increase in prices will cause many problems in the community. This is very troubling for consumers who use chili as a food or spice in the community.
