PENGARUH OVERCONFIDENCE DAN AVAILABILITY BIAS TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN INVESTASI

Abstract


Keputusan investasi saham yang tepat dapat memberikan keuntungan yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh overconfidence dan availability bias terhadap keputusan investasi oleh investor individu di kota Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer melalui kuesioner dan sampel berjumlah 200 orang responden yang merupakan investor aktif di kota Medan – Indonesia. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan olah data dengan SPSS statistik 22. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa overconfidence memiliki  hubungan positif signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi dengan nilai pengaruh 4,5%, availability bias memiliki  hubungan positif signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi dengan nilai pengaruh 11,3%, dan overconfidence dan availability bias secara bersama – sama memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan mempengaruhi keputusan investasi dengan nilai R square 12,6%. Implikasinya, overconfidence dan availability bias diperlukan untuk melakukan keputusan investasi yang tepat. Dan penelitian ini dapat dikembangkan dengan bias-bias lain serta memperluas cakupan investor nasional.
