The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has brought significant changes to the field of education, including the teaching of Islamic Religious Education (IRE). The utilization of technology as a learning medium has become a necessity in order to enhance the effectiveness and quality of the learning process. One of the ICT-based learning media widely used today is presentation applications. This study aims to examine the use of ICT-based presentation applications in improving the effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education learning. The research method employed is a qualitative approach with a library research design. Data were collected through a review of books, scholarly journal articles, and academic documents relevant to learning media, educational technology, and Islamic Religious Education. The findings indicate that presentation applications play an important role in assisting teachers in delivering materials systematically, visually, and attractively, thereby enhancing students’ learning motivation, conceptual understanding, and participation. However, the use of presentation applications without proper pedagogical planning may reduce learning effectiveness. Therefore, Islamic Religious Education teachers are required to possess pedagogical competence and digital literacy to ensure that the use of presentation applications optimally supports the achievement of learning objectives and the internalization of Islamic values.
