The paper is to present the Islamization of knowledge (IOK) referring to its first lauching in the International Islamic Conference on the Islamic education, in Mecca, 1977. As an intellectual movement, the Islamization of knowledge is a response to the secularization in the the Muslim education. Misconception of knowledge is assumed as the root of the problem in the Muslim education system. Therefore, the knowledge should be reconceptualized and infused the Islamic worldview. The International Islamic University Malaysia is an excellent university for implementation of the Islamization of knowledge agenda, and is an experiment for this agenda. Barrier and chalenge that faced by the institution encompaasing conceptual, human resource and support.Downloads
