This research aims to determine the implementation of the role of parents in fostering children's spiritual intelligence, the methods used, the obstacles faced by parents in fostering spiritual intelligence and the results achieved from the role of parents in fostering children's spiritual intelligence in the family at the Barakuda TNI AL Complex. This research uses a naturalistic qualitative approach, namely an approach that creates a systematic and objective picture (description) of an event, by collecting, evaluating, verifying and synthesizing evidence to support facts in order to reach a conclusion. The implementation of fostering children's spiritual intelligence is divided into three parts, namely including time, place and implementation process. The timings are quite varied, some are done in the morning, during rest time, at night accompanied by teaching school assignments, and there are also those that are held specifically after the Fajr, Maghrib and 'Isha prayers. The method used is by telling children to come to the mosque and take part in religious activities, getting children used to always thinking positively, providing lessons and experiences from parents and providing role models. Obstacles faced by parents such as; lack of parental knowledge, poor communication, busy parents and busy children playing online games. The results of the role of parents can be said to be quite good by looking at changes in children's spiritual intelligence, such as being able to carry out acts of worship such as praying, fasting, reading the Koran, helping friends who are experiencing difficulties and comforting them when they have a disaster, reciting the Koran at TPA and coming to the mosque to pray together.Referensi
