Abstract


ABSTRACT
In this study aims to test and analyze the effect of Insurance Premiums, and Service Quality on the Purchase Decision of Life Insurance Policies that study the case at PT. Sinarmas MSIG Life Insurance Medan.
This research uses quantitative methods. With a population of life insurance customers Sinarmas MSIG Medan, the number of customers in 2018 is 157 people. For this reason, the data samples were 61 respondents. The data collection technique in this study was by distributing questionnaires directly to customers.
The results of this study indicate that the independent variables (Insurance Premiums and Service Quality) influence the policy purchase decision at Sinarmas Life Insurance MSIG Medan with the result of sig. 0,000 <0.5 then in accordance with the provisions if the value of sig <0.05 then this independent variable significantly influences the policy purchase decision. Furthermore, the results of this independent variable partially have different results, which is seen from the results of the independent variable (Insurance Premium) the value of sigital is 0,000 and the value is <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Seen again from the independent variable Quality of Service where the result of the value of siggitude T is 0.074 and the value is> 0.05 then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected.
Suggestions from this research for Sinarmas MSIG Medan Life Insurance Parties should broaden the information provided to the public regarding life insurance products. With so expected public knowledge about life insurance can increase. By providing this information, the Sinarmas MSIG Medan Insurance Company can also increase public interest in purchasing life insurance products. Sinarmas MSIG Medan Life Insurance can be said to have provided a fairly good service to customers. Even so the company must continue to improve and maintain the quality of service that it has.
