Abstract


ABSTRACT
One symptom that causes damage to the condition of human resources in an organization is the low job satisfaction and motivation for employee productivity in the North Sumatra Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) office. These symptoms arise from complaints from employees, low performance, low cooperation between employees, low employee acceptance, discipline problems and various other difficulties. In general, human resources required job satisfaction and motivation for work productivity as a fulfillment of employee needs so that employees can carry out their duties and responsibilities properly. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence job satisfaction and motivation have on employee productivity at the Office of the North Sumatra Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda). The data collection method used by researchers is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques are normality test, multicollinearity test, heterokedasticity test, and multiple linear regression. The sample studied was as many as 50 people. The results of the study are the results of the regression analysis obtained t value of 3.640> t table 1.677, it can be concluded that Ho is accepted. Which means that there is a significant influence of job satisfaction on work productivity. The results of the regression analysis obtained t value of 3.187> 1.677 then Ho is accepted. There is a significant influence of motivation on employee work productivity. The calculated F value is 23.666, while the F value is 3.20. It can be concluded that F arithmetic 23,661> 3.20, it can be concluded that the independent variables of job satisfaction and motivation together have a significant effect on the dependent variable (Y) of work productivity.
