PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN DAN PELATIHAN TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN DI PT.INALUM (PERSERO)

Abstract

 

Some things that can affect company performance include employee performance, the quality of the company's raw materials, the company's work system, and so on. Every company has a different strategy to improve company performance and productivity. Some of them are conducting transparent performance appraisal systems, fulfilling employee rights, providing reward and punishment, clear career paths, conducting training and skills training, establishing familiarity with colleagues, personnel management/human resource management, and so on. Based on the study in the background of the problem, the theoretical foundation and theoretical framework, the hypothesis proposed to be tested in this study are: 1. The magnitude of the influence of education on the performance of employees at PT. Inalum (Persero) Kuala Tanjung is determined by education indicators. 2. The magnitude of the effect of Training on Employee Performance at PT. Inalum (Persero) is determined by indicators of Training 3. The magnitude of the influence of Education and training on the performance of employees of PT. Inalum (Persero) is determined by education and training indicators. The results of the study state that: (1) simultaneously based on regression calculations with the help of SPSS 17.0 the education and training variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance that is equal to 72.9%. This relationship is classified as statistically strong, as stated by Sugiyono (2016) that a relatively strong relationship is 0.60-0.79 or 60%-79% while that which is classified as very strong is 0.80-1,000. (2). Educational variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance that is equal to 45.2%, (3). Training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance that is equal to 81.6%. In other words, if the employee's education level and the training provided by the company are getting better, then the performance will be even better.
